Orion Ceramic Studios produces pottery and architectural ceramic originals, created individually in keeping with long-held traditions

Orion offers an unlimited range of work including Architectural Ceramics, Ceramic Signage, Original Pottery, Sculpture, Custom Tiles and Sinks.  Designs are custom tailored for the client and can range from the classical to ultra-modern.

Architectural Ceramics include entrance and passageways, archways, window surrounds, sills and ledges, columns, friezes and cladding, fountains and garden architectural pieces, fireplaces, mantles, hearths, handmade tiles and sinks.  custom architectural work may be produced individually or in limited series.

Exclusively designed works produced in durable stoneware, porcelain, and terra cotta materials are gas fired to more than 2000'F -- fully vitrified for strength and lasting beauty.  Each piece is available in natural earth colors, or may be finished in a wide palette of lead-free glazes or sealed grout stains.

Principal potter and ceramist Ellen Baker was introduced to pottery-making more than 25 years ago in Western Pennsylvania.
